1. About this Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how PurpleOps Ltd. ("PurpleOps", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the purple-ops.io website (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle the personal data those technologies collect.

We apply EU/EEA/UK consent rules (GDPR + ePrivacy Directive) to all visitors detected as being in those regions; for visitors outside those regions, non-essential cookies may be enabled by default and you can opt out at any time.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator. "Similar technologies" includes localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and SDKs that perform comparable functions.

Cookies set by purple-ops.io are first-party. Cookies set by services we embed (such as Google Analytics or YouTube) are third-party, and those providers act as independent controllers for the data they collect.

The cookies listed above are the ones we use today. Third-party cookies are only set after you grant consent for the relevant category. If you reject Analytics, for example, no Google Analytics cookies will be written.

4. Managing your preferences

You can manage your choices at any time using the cookie icon shown on every page of the Website (bottom-right corner). It re-opens the consent panel where you can:

  • Accept All enables every category.
  • Reject All keeps only Strictly Necessary cookies.
  • Customise lets you toggle each category individually.

Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (cc_consent) and in localStorage so we can honour it on subsequent visits without asking again. Clearing your browser storage will reset the choice and the banner will appear on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser. See your browser's documentation: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Disabling Strictly Necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is recognised under applicable law. Browsers sending GPC are treated as having opted out of Analytics and Marketing categories. There is no industry-wide standard for "Do Not Track" headers, so we do not act on DNT alone.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above. If a new category is introduced, your previous consent will be invalidated and you will be asked to choose again.
